HISTORY IN THE MAKING
❋
She began studying at the Royal College of the Arts in London, where she spent dedicated years honing her craft and letting a route of inspiration come to her. Serena reached out for a mentor and was introduced to Richard Fox, who she later married and is still happily with today. They embarked on many adventures together, and while Richard continues further into larger sculptural silversmithing, Serena found her passion lay in Jewellery Design. Together they create a force in the industry under the joint FOX name.
DIVE INTO SERENA’S JOURNEY
Serena initailly loved lost wax casting. She is an incredible illustrator and carves detailed models of animals that she has cast in silver, that evoke a realistic playful and inquisitiveness of each creature. This developed into her love of capturing the form of sea creatures, which is what the majority of her work is centred around.

She grew up in the countryside, surrounded by rolling hills and was always fascinated by stories that told of far away adventure, that ignighted a spark in her creativity, dreaming of tropical adventures. that eventually lead her to drawing the majority of her inspiration for her unique creations from the Sea.
Inspiration and Influence
Visits to the sea during Serena’s childhood left a deep affinity for the oceans and marine activity. Her designs are influenced by underwater forms of plant and sea life although she occasionally introduces terrestrial design in the form of flora and fauna. She uses many fine coloured gemstones to enhance her work.
Serena studied at Camberwell College of Arts and Crafts and learned silversmithing before becoming the jewellery designer she is today. All designs are made by Serena and the team she shares with her husband Richard in their London workshop.
